Tata Sky has launched its Android TV-based set-top box in India. Tata Sky Binge+ set-top box runs on Android TV OS. The new set-top box will allow users to enjoy TV as well as content from OTT platforms such as Hotstar, Netflix, Zee5 etc. 

Last year, Airtel had launched its Android TV Based Airtel Xstream box with similar features. Dish Smart Hub Android Set-top box is also available in the market.

The android TV set-top box is priced at Rs. 5,999 in India. The company is offering a 30-day free trial of Tata Sky Binge. Tata Sky Binge+ set-top box competes with the likes of Airtel Xstream Box and Dish SMART Hub. In comparison, DishSmart Hub is currently available for Rs. 2,499 while Airtel Xstream Box is priced at Rs. 3,999.
