Xiaomi is ready with its latest budget smartphone for its fans in India. Redmi 8A is all set to make entry to the market at a very affordable price. The teaser of Redmi 8A is out on Flipkart and Mi.com hinting at an attractive price tag and top-end features.

Xiaomi has revealed the launch date of Redmi 8A in India. The smartphone will launch on 25th September. Recently, Xiaomi launched a slew of new products, including Mi Smart Water purifier, Mi Band 4, and a new range of Mi TVs. The successor to Redmi 7A is expected to come with multiple upgrades. The bezel-less screen of Redmi 8A features a water-drop notch. There is a dual rear camera setup consists of 12MP and 5MP lenses. For clicking selfies it has a 5MP front camera.
Redmi 8A is expected to come in two storage variants of 16GB and 32GB. It is powered by a 5,000mAh Li-on battery. Xiaomi on twitter has confirmed upgrades like a scratch-resistant screen and support for fast charging.

Redmi 8A is expected to launch in two price variants of Rs. 6,499 & Rs. 6,999. The predecessor is available at a price of Rs. 5,999 for the 2GB RAM and 16GB storage variant. While the 3GB RAM and 32GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 6,499. The earlier variants in the series are launched at similar price tags.
With 8A Xiaomi is also set to maintain its successful run in the budget smartphone segment. Redmi 4A, 5A, 6A, and 7A have got great responses from the customers. The latest addition to the list is expected to get better with improved features and even bigger battery performance.
