LG Velvet has a 6.8-inch full HD+ (1,080x2,460 pixels) Cinema FullVision POLED display. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC while the global variant comes with Snapdragon 765G SoC. The smartphone runs Android 10 with LG custom UI on top. It packs 6GB of RAM coupled with 128GB of internal storage. 

The triple rear camera setup has a 48-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front housed inside a water drop-notch.

The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, USB Type-C, and in-display fingerprint sensor. LG Velvet has a 4,300mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support. The smartphone weighs 180 grams.

LG Velvet price in India starts at Rs. Rs. 36,990. The smartphone will be available with LG Velvet Dual Screen. The dual-screen accessory is available at Rs. 49,990. The smartphone goes on sale in India starting October 30. LG Velvet is available in Aurora Silver and New Black colour options in India.

At this price segment, LG Velvet smartphone competes against the likes of Vivo X50 and Xiaomi Mi 10T. Both smartphones are already available in the market. Xiaomi's Mi 10T is powered by Snapdragon 865 while Vivo X50 comes with Snapdragon 730. Among the three devices, only Mi 10T supports 5G.
