It looks promising because the membership programme is going to be free of cost. And things will get interesting when Amazon reacts to this new move of its arch-rival.
If you are Flipkart customers you are going to like this as your online shopping is soon going to be better. The new loyalty programme of Flipkart has been announced to compete with Amazon Prime. Flipkart plus will come with many benefits for consumers including free shipping, bigger discounts, and early access to sales. The loyalty program will be available at no cost. It is going to be based on loyalty points where customers can avail benefits by redeeming points earned on their purchase on Flipkart. This is the first major move from the e-commerce company after being acquired by Walmart in May this year.
Flipkart Plus is all set to launch on August 15. You can subscribe to the loyalty programme starting independence day. The membership will be free and all Flipkart customers can subscribe at no cost. It will be a premium account with many benefits for members. This is not the first foray of the e-commerce company in customer loyalty programs as Flipkart First was introduced during Big Billion Sale.
Note: Flipkart Plus launch date is 15 August. The loyalty programme will be available at no cost for all customers.
Anyone can become a member of Flipkart plus, the customers will get benefits on basis of loyalty points or coins they gain for every purchase. To get Flipkart Plus membership you need to download its app. The options for subscription will be available on Flipkart mobile app. Once you download and install the app you will see the option. In case you are already using Flipkart app, there might be an update soon which will bring the new feature to customers.
