Redmi Note 7 Was launched in China on 10th January. The Redmi Note 7 is the first smartphone of the "Redmi by Xiaomi" sub-brand. As the loyal Mi fans in India were eagerly waiting for the launch. The smartphone has been launched on Flipkart at a price of Rs. 9,999. Earlier, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain had posted an image with Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun holding the Redmi Note 7 in his hand hinting at a possible launch very soon in India. Mi is expected to launch a device under Android Go as well.
The starting price of Redmi Note 7 for the 3GB/32GB storage variant is Rs. 9,999. The smartphone will be a successor to the Redmi Note 6 that was launched in India in November last year. The Note 6 Pro is available on Flipkart at a starting price of Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM variant. Recently, the company had also dropped the price of popular smartphones in India - Redmi Y2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, & Mi A2.

The USP on Redmi Note 7 is its rear camera sensor that is part of the dual rear camera set up of 12 MP + 2 MP sensor. The smartphone also gets an upgraded processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. There is a 13-megapixel selfie camera as well. The 6.3-inch full HD display comes with waterdrop notch and a resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels. On the software front, it runs MIUI 10 based on Android Pie. There is also support for Quick Charge 4. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port and 3.5mm audio jack. Yes, the Redmi Note 7 has a Type-C port.
