A teaser on Flipkart reveals Realme is about to launch a Quad camera smartphone soon. The upcoming smartphone launched on 20th August. Meanwhile, a lot of rumours have been made about Realme 5. 

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,999 in India. In fact, Realme CEO Madhav Seth has confirmed the price in a tweet. Realme has been able to create a niche in the under 20k price segment in India. Earlier this year, the company celebrated its 1st anniversary in India. 

Realme 5 Launch in India

If reports are to believed Realme will launch two smartphones on 20th August. Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro. You can also watch the live stream of the launch event at 12:30 pm on 20th August. Both smartphones will be Flipkart exclusive. 

Recently, Realme X was launched in India. The smartphone is one of the most affordable smartphones to come with a pop-up selfie camera. The next-generation smartphone will be equipped with a quad-camera setup. 

Realme 5 Price in India

The smartphone is priced at Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB and 32GB ROM variant. The 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 10,999. While the 128GB variant of Realme 5 costs Rs. 11,999. The pricing has been confirmed on Twitter. Realme 3 Pro starts at Rs. 13,9990 for the 4GB and 64GB storage variant. While the Realme 3 price in India starts Rs. 8,499. The recently launched Realme 3i is available at Rs. 7,999. 

Realme 5 Features

Realme 5 is the 1st Quad camera smartphone under 10k. The tweet also reveals 1st time ever launch of Qualcomm chipset in India.
