Black Dog Whisky Variants

The famous Black Dog whiskey is available in five different variants. 

• Black Dog Gold Reserve Aged 12 Years: This was the first-ever variant of Black Dog, launched in 2006 under the name Black Dog Deluxe. 

• Black Dog Black Reserve: This 8-year-old variant was earlier known as Black Dog Centenary. It was also launched in the year 2006. 

• Black Dog Reserve Aged 18 Years: Launched in 2010, this Black Dog variant is a blend of aged malt and grain whiskies. It is aged for a minimum of 18 years in oak casks, hence the name. 

• Black Dog Quintessence Aged 21 Years: In 2012, a limited edition of Black Dog whisky was launched. It includes 25 single malts and grain whiskies, and only 3,540 bottles were ever made. 

• Black Dog Millard’s Private Reserve 14YO: 14-year-old single malts were added with new citrus flavours and the single malts from Linkwood Distillery. Both led to its distinctive taste and aroma.
